I went for my 30 week appointment on Wednesday and everything was pretty routine.
Pee in cup - check
Blood pressure - check
Weighing in - check
So as I am talking to the nurse I ask her how much I have gained or haven't gained. Because you know that everytime I have gone to the doctor I haven't gained any weight. Well the nurse said "You've gained 8 pounds since your last appointment and 7 pounds the entire pregnancy."
Wait! 8 POUNDS! My last appointment was 2 weeks ago! I've gained 8 pounds in two weeks?! Now don't get me wrong... I was happy that I gained something! But I was a little worried that I had gained so much in such a short period of time.
So when Dr. T came in we talked about the weight gain and she said that since I haven't gained anything this whole pregnancy she was very happy with the weight gain! Whew! Made me feel better! She said everything looks great! Baby is growing great! Heartbeat was in the low 150s!
Ok... see you in two weeks Dr. T!
